n 1994 Jeff was nominated for the
prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh festival.
He also hosted The Comedy Club (LWT) and toured with
Jo Brand.
1995 saw further sell-out tours of the UK and Australia
and TV apperances on the Des O'Connor Tonight and The
Clive James Show.
1996 proved to be a great year for Jeff with a sell
out solo tour of the UK and a 45 minute television
special - Jeff Green Live (ITV) which was recorded
at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End.
In 1997 Jeff took Australia by storm, playing to
sell-out audiences at the Melbourne and Sydney comedy
festivals. He also had his second ITV special Jeff
Green-Up West which was recorded at The Gielgud Theatre
in London's West End.
1998 saw Jeff writing and performing his third Christmas
special on ITV - You're Only Human with Jeff Green
as well as his first sell out West End run - Love Bites
at the Apollo Theatre.
Rounding off the Millennium in 1999 Jeff hosted 20th
Century Stuff for Channel 5; made his 4th appearance
on The Clive James Show; his 3rd appearance on BBC1's
They Think it's All Over and a record breaking 5th
spot on BBC2's Never Mind the Buzzcocks In addition
he travelled to Australia to appear in Sky TV's World
Cup Comedy.
Jeff enjoyed a sell-out run the 2000 Edinburgh Fringe
Festival and was seen on our screens as team captain
in Paramount Comedy Channels Shoot the Messenger, its
first new commission since Spaced.
2001 saw Jeff touring his new stand up show across
the UK and Australia, record a full length Comedy Store
special for Channel 5 and being voted by the viewing
public in their top 10 favourite comedy panellists
commissioned by the TV Times.
In 2002 Jeff enjoyed another sell out run in Edinburgh,
toured the UK & Australia with his new stand up
show and was seen on BBC1's Jo Brands Hot Potatoes
as team captain.
Rounding off the year he released his first book:
The A-Z of Living Together which went to no 5 in the
Sunday Times best sellers list, staying in the top
10 for 5 weeks and selling 125,000 copies. He also
found time to release his first CD: Jeff Green - Debauched
Cherub.
In 2003 he has performed at the Melbourne International
Comedy Festival, is currently finishing his follow-up
book: The A-Z of Being Single and will be recording
a live video for Christmas in September from London's
West-End. |
