Barry Cryer is a writer and comedian.
He started at the Windmill Theatre, London, a club
which showed comedy acts in between nude shows.
In the 1970s he appeared with Tim Brooke-Taylor and
John Junkin in the BBC radio series Hello, Cheeky!
which basically consisted of the three performers bouncing
jokes off of each other. He also had a role in All
You Need Is Cash.
He toured with Willie Rushton in the show Two Old
Farts in the Night, which was released on video, and
That Reminds Me after Rushton's death. He is also famous
for doing after-dinner speeches.
For thirty years, he has been, and continues to be,
one of the panellists on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
He also writes and stars in You'll Have Had Your Tea. |
