Adam Bloom was 18 months old when
his parents nicknamed him “The Voice”!
When he was 10, he told them he was going to be a comedian.
By the age of 23, he was.
He has appeared in Comedy Festivals all over the
world, including numerous sell out Edinburgh shows.
At the 1998 Festival Adam was featured in Channel 4’s “Edinburgh
or Bust” (Angel Eye) and he also won the Polygram
Punters’ Comedy Award for his show. He has recorded
and filmed sets for all of the radio and TV stand up
shows (including the "The World Comedy Tour")
and participated in the BBC children’s comedy
show “Stitch Up”.
Adam's first radio series, "The Problem With..." was
hugely successful on Radio 4 last year and he has just
finished recording a second series.
Adam Bloom is undoubtedly one of Britain’s
most exciting and original stand-up comedians. He has
performed sell-out solo shows at the ‘96, ’97, ’98, ’99,
2001 & 2004 Edinburgh Festivals and in February
- March 1999 he performed a twenty-nine date solo tour
of Britain. Adam has also performed at comedy festivals
in Montreal, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington,
Kilkenny and Cape Town.
He was recently part of the
Just For Laughs Comedy Tour 2004 where he performed
to over 42,000 people in 17 cities across Canada. In
July 2005, Adam will make his forth trip to Canada
with Just For Laughs where he'll be performing as part
of the 2005 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. |
