A man walks into a pub in Dublin and orders 3pts., goes to a table toward the back of the bar and sits down. He takes a drink out of the first pt, sets it down, takes a drink out of the 2nd, sets it down and takes a drink out of the 3rd. He drinks them like this in order untill their all gone, and orders 3 more pts. The barkeep couriously asks, "why do you drink like this, doesn't your ale go flat, wouldn't it be better to drink one at a time?"
"No," syas the man, "I drink this way because I have 2 brothers in the war, when they left we all vowed to drink this way everytime as if we were all here drinking together."
Through the next several months the man became a regular at the pub, he came in every day and drank in that same manner.
One day he walks in w/ a very solom look orders 2 pts and sits down at his regular table w/ out saying a word to anyone.
After a while the barkeep goes up to the man, and says "I know its none of my buisness, but just the same I'm sorry for your loss."
The man looks up at him in confusion, sudenly, understanding the barkeeps concern, he says "Oh no, both of my brothers are still alive and in good health, I've just decided to kuit drinking."
