If you clicked on this thread...the answer is...Yes!
Just kidding!
Below you'll find the real Nerd Test: Use this checklist to determine if you're a Nerd.
__ 1. Your favorite movie is Super Mario Brothers. __ 2. In your basement...you have a huge collection of dead animals. __ 3. You can't get past the 1st level in Pacman. __ 4. Your favorite hobby is farting in the tub. __ 5. Haven't changed your underwear in 2 weeks. __ 6. Your favorite album is by David Hassolholf (a.k.a Knight Rider) __ 7. You have a poster of Richard Simmons hanging in your bedroom. __ 8. You repeated kindergarten 3 or more times. __ 9. You'd rather play with a pet rock...instead of XBOX 360. __ 10. You're 30 years old and still go out for Halloween.
Here's the scoring rubric:
1 check = Not a Nerd 2 checks = Kinda Nerdy 3 checks = Nerdy 4 checks = Really Nerdy 5 checks = A Nerd of biblical proportions
Dude, I think you have "nerd" mixed up with "Freak". There's a few subtle differences.
1. Ok that's nerdy, but it could be worse...."Replikate" for example. 2. Just invite a sweet girl into your basement and see if she yells "nerd" or "freak" 3. A nerd will get past the first level of any game, any time. 4. Maybe not favourite hobby but a good cut in the bath will make anyone giggle. 5. This is a common myth. Nerds always have clean underwear. Their mothers are emphatic about it. Freaks thrive on stink 6. No comment. I do not want to enrage Yorik *zing* 7. Another Myth, not all nerds are homosexual....not that there's anything wrong with that. 8. Hillbillies do not constitute as nerds as a general rule. 9. Now that's nerdy, agreed. 10. Again I agree, it is common for nerds to reach their peak around 30 where they finally gain the courage to venture out into social events that the rest of us have finished with before we were teenagers.
I hope this helps for a more nerd-aware society. I want to make this clear, however, that I am neither pro nor anti nerd, but prefer to watch them from afar in their natural habitat. As any freak does. ....joking. I'm more of a moron than anything.
