If you was remember the lady on Def Comedy Jam and wondered where she went by chance. She is "MA DUKES" formerly KNOWN and seen on DEF COMEDY JAM when she housed all her stage props (liquor bottle, glass, ice) in her boobs!" (Lol) Evangelist Dennese “NESE” Hopson is now using Comedy as Laughter for the SOUL to bring help release the joy and pain of the everyday trials. I remember seeing this larger than life comedian come out and take a seat on stage,she began her comic routine, taking large items that one would usually take out of a purse, she extracted them from her ample breast. This comedian had the audience in an absolute uproar of laughter. She was so hilariously believable, it was almost like watching a member of your own family. She capitalized on all the "real things" we all do as women ( by storing necessities in our secret places), Her comedic approach made her act even more side busting funny because she stored more than necessities, and she had much more space to store things.
I have worked with many "A" listed stars, comedians, models, and celebrities, including the likes of Martin Lawrence, " Big Mama's House" Sam L Jackson " Negotiator" Whoopee Goldberg, Kevin Spacey , Elizabeth Hurley, John Claude Van Dam ; I found Nesse to be yesterday, the same as she is today, warm unpretentious, the "down home" type that you could almost bet she is part of your family. this is a remarkable characteristic to still have after one realizes who she has shared the world comedy stages with. Nesse Is the consummate professional!
