Ok folks,about a dozen of us went out to see a few comedians a few nights ago. We watched the amateur stuff first and on the bill was a chappie called "Danny Samson" He has already won 2 competitions at the comedy cafe in london and one in Manchester. He has now started to do Open Mike at Jongleurs..this is one funny guy! He has been given advice by Lee Evans and his act has been seen and recognised by Pro comedians such as Tim Vine and Jerry Sadowitz. He also did a spontanious show in San Antonio (Texas) a few months back. He just got up on stage and did his spot and went down a storm. Many people at the bar afterwards were saying he was more entertaining than the pro's At the end of the evening,we managed to speak to Danny Samson at the bar. He said he was new to the business and didn't really know where to go from here. Hopefully someone will point him in the right direction. He said his next venture was to try and get a slot at the Edinburgh festival,self financed if need be,but just doesn't know how to go about it. On the off chance you are reading this Danny,good luck,although you don't need it...talent prevails! Keep an ear out for this guy, this person really needs an agent and fast.

OMG!! can't believe some one has started a thread about this guy,been a bit quiet of lately , but apparently doing new material and coming back. Saw him earlier this year,good looking lad if i may say so myself. Saw him in Nottingam,god did he make us all laugh. Spoke to him at the bar afterwards OP, again , he said he didnt know what to do next, i couldn't advise him, im a mechanic ffs,lol.
Think we might be seeing this guy on the telly box in a years time! Good luck danny Boy!

Saw this thread about danny samson yesterday and decided to reply today. i was on my hen night with a few friends as you can imagine. We all decided to see a few comdians before we got rat arsed.
Mark lemarr was the main event of the evening,the compare was Bill bailey,both were terrible. One of the comedians was a fella called danny samson, nothing important here,seen it all before kinda comedians,support comedian, thats all he was,but our minds changed when he came on. Not only a good looking lad (wish i never got married now) but sooo funny. Some of us spoke to him at the bar(does he spend his life at the bar,see other posts) your right other poster, this guy needs an agent and quick,some comedians stand out more than others, and this is one of them!!
Personally i think this man is right up there with Izzard and lee evans...seriously!! We all go to Jongleurs a lot and we have never seen an act like this!! If you are reading this, remember his name and support him,he deserves it,and you know it!
Danny,thanks for making my pre marriage night a one to remember.
