I'm new to this but I've just started working for an events company and they book a lot of comedians and acts so thought i'd let you know of any new comedians that are any good to look out for. i don't work for the comedians and we don't have any obligation to them either - we just book them on behalf of whoever's party it is.
Had a guy called Jez Rose last week who was really good - the audience loved him. He's got so much energy and is a bit random! He does a bit of stand-up and then randomly grabs this amazing puppet and carries on but with the puppet like a sidekick and he does ventriloquism (don't know how you spell that!). Aparently he has a few different puppets he uses but the night i saw him he had a dragon which was amazing and two french sheep!!! He also does this hilarious thing with masks on people's faces and he had to wait ages because the audience were laughing so much they couldn't hear him! his website is www.jezrose.co.uk
