From Lawrence Wood Chief Executive MSRC (lawrence@msrc.co.uk) 'All at MSRC would like to say a big thank you to everyone who bought tickets in the monday lottery in support of our draw last night (4th September). Although initial prospects for monday were quoting huge sums, the draws have actually been doing nowhere near as well as planned for, although we all hope more and more people will begin to play as time goes by. However, the result last night was a much needed just over £5,000 and the fantastic news is that our ticket sales were way up there with some much larger charities, demonstrating again what great supporters we are lucky enough to have. Our financial situation remains interesting as the numbers turning to us continue to grow, although through good management we also continue to reduce costs wherever we can. Therefore money raised through your support of the monday lottery and other fundraising ventures remains a vital part of our very survival.
