Comedy at the Cult TV Festival, 20-23 October, Gt Yarmouth, UK Can't Post

Comedy guests at the 13th Annual Cult TV Festival.

The Cult TV Festival is a fan-run, multi-stream, charity event in aid of Medecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders) running from noon Friday to noon Monday over the weekend of 20-23 October, taking place at the Seacroft Holiday Village, Hemsby, Great Yarmouth, UK.

Visit our website: www.cult.tv

At the Festival there are many events happening at the same time and over the weekend, so you get to pick and choose what you want to do at any hour of the day. Each guest takes part in a fully researched interviews and Q&A session; there are also workshops, autograph sessions, Friday night games, the Saturday night Cult TV Awards and Sunday Night star cabaret, episode screenings (in two dedicated 24 hour video rooms), a fan strand, quizzes, merchandise dealers, discussion groups, different themed parties each night, a free 36 page event brochure etc.

Our guests are now up to 26 and include four from the world of comedy:

* Richard Wilson *
Best known of course as Victor Meldrew in the sit-com One Foot In The Grave. He has had a distinguished acting career that included the role of Doctor Constantine in the 2005 series of Doctor Who in episodes 'The Empty Child' and 'The Doctor Dances'. Richard’s appearance is rarity and would be a great chance to meet him and hear him talk about his career.

* Norman Lovett *
The original Holly in Red Dwarf. Norman will also be one half of our Sunday night cabaret. Never seen him do stand up comedy? You can now.
All a part of the full weekend entertainment at Cult TV!

* Richard Gibson *
Herr Flick in ‘Allo ‘Allo!

* David Barry *
Frankie Abbot in Please Sir!, and The Fenn Street Gang.

Other guests include:

* Antonio Fargas *

* Francis Matthews *
The voice of Captain Scarlet. He was Paul Temple in the classic BBC detective series and has had a varied career including three appearances in The Morecambe and Wise Show and two of Eric and Ernie’s films.

Boomer and Colonel Tigh in the original Battlestar Galactica.

* Ron B Moore *
Emmy award winning special effects for Star Trek – Enterprise. He also worked on ST-TNG and Voyager. SFx supervisor on ST-Generations.

* Stefan Arngrim *
Barry Lockridge (the kid) in the Irwin Allen TV series Land of the Giants. This will age many of you as he recently turned 50. He has guest starred in many series and is also a very accomplished musician. He is returning to the UK for the first time in nearly a decade.

As with events of this type, guests appear subject to work and personal commitments.

The cost of the weekend is £99; full booking details including an online booking facility are at www.culttv.biz

Accommodation is included on-site and there are four levels. Prices start from £79 per person for the 3 nights (i.e. less than £27 a night) and are on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis.

Not been before? Why not come along and see what we're about.

We're non-stop - 72 hours - no starting late and finishing early.

We give you choice and lots of it. Can't sleep? - hit the screening room or the all nite bar!

We're fun! - we aren't po-faced - we enjoy the series we celebrate. Sometimes we get a little silly, but we never lose respect for our source material!

Hope to see you all at Cult TV this October!
